Kerosene is looking for a Junior Compositor to join our team of artists. The successful candidate will be hired on a full time contract and have access to opt-in to the company benefits program. Kerosene VFX is a Toronto based animation and visual effects studio working in film and television.
RESPONSIBILITIES
2D and 3D photo-realistic compositing using Adobe After Effects and/or The Foundry's Nuke
2D photoshop image manipulation
Green screen keying, 2D and 3D tracking, and rotoscoping
Works with full knowledge of color space principles
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and ability with other Creative Cloud applications is a plus
Preference will be shown for those with experience in compositing for Film and television
Knowledge and ability using Nuke and NukeX is an asset
Be self-directed but can take direction and work in a team based environment
Have good communication and time management skills and be extremely organized
Solid work ethic and a positive attitude
Due to the ongoing global pandemic Kerosene's team of artists are working fully remote. Successful candidates will need their own computer and internet access to connect to and use the workstation located at Kerosene's Studio. Though your working location is flexible, successful candidates must be Canadian citizens with a social insurance number, who file their annual taxes in the province of Ontario.
